A new art exhibition showcasing Jandamarra Cadd's latest work is now available to view in Mercure Brisbane's linkway located on our ground floor. 

You'll find an array of pieces that highlight the value and beauty of First Nations Culture and the people that are a part of this, along with paintings that share through a visual narrative the message of walking together proper way. The style of each portrait varies greatly, and at times these vastly contrasting styles come together in a harmony.

Land Forces 2020

1-3 September 2020

Presented with support from the Australian Army, the biennial LAND FORCES exposition is an international industry event to showcase equipment, technology and services for the armies of Australia and the Indo-Asia-Pacific.

The 2018 event set new records, with more than 15,000 attendances across its three days, including 624 participating companies from 26 countries and 74 defence trade and industry delegations from 36 countries. The event also hosted 21 associated conferences, seminars and symposia.

Australia vs New Zealand - Beldisloe Cup

Every year the Wallabies and the All Blacks do battle in a three-match series. Two of these matches also count towards the annual Rugby Championship.

Australia may not have won The Bledisloe Cup since 2002, yet this has not lessened the competitiveness, passion and excitement that this competition brings.

Rubgy Australia CEO Raelene Castle mentioned this of Suncorp Stadium, “Brisbane knows how to put on a great show and the Wallabies always have outstanding support every time they come to town. The Wallabies have a strong record at Suncorp Stadium, and it is no wonder that it is one of the favourite venues for our players.” - Brisbane Times

Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium will play hosts to the Third test match on October 17 2020
